FCC reacts to Google/Verizon deal with decisive action more questions

The FCC’s plan for network neutrality—ideas which Chairman Julius Genachowski made central to his tenure, and which were backed by President Obama—has been under direct assault for the last month. Verizon and Google told the FCC that the agency should largely butt out of overseeing network management, leaving it almost entirely up to industry, and that almost no rules could be applied to wireless networks.
