Our experimental Hack Day at TechCrunch Disrupt in New York a couple of months ago was wildly successful – more developers than you can shake a stick at showed up, drank redbull and pizza (care of sponsors). A number of projects were featured on stage in front of a live audience of nearly 2,000 people, and tens of thousands more watched on the live stream. And at least one project has become an actual startup and received funding (more on that later). So we’re going to make this a regular part of TechCrunch Disrupt
