New Year’s Prankster Meets Annual ‘Victim’ After 36 Years of Phone Friendship

Growing up, most kids make a prank phone call or two — especially before the era of caller ID. But according to the Chicago Tribune , one Chicago area man never quite grew out of the habit. In 1973, 10-year-old Kevin Nolan prank called fellow Chicagoan and recently returned Vietnam vet Bob Cortese on New Year’s Eve, and told him that he’d won 10,000 gold-plated rubber ducks.
